    North Stanly/ Mt.Pleasant

    I will pick Mt.Pleasant right now to "sweep" North Stanly this year when these teams finally play each other. Anyone who would like to make a friendly wager, please PM me...

    yea it was the first scrimmage of the year...NW beat us 14-1..we didnt have 2 startin basketball players, and only 3 or 4 of our normal starters started

    well conf is shaky now.....west stanly lost to forest hills 1-0 ....west stanly now has 3 conf losses.. north 0 ..mount 1

    so today is the day we will see which team lives up to the hype they have received. north stanly at mount pleasant (7p.m.) for top spot in the conference after the first half of conference play. looks like mount will have benton on the mound. i'll be back with details.

    Mt.Pleasant-7 over North Stanly-6

    Sorry, no specific game details. Mt.Pleasant and North Stanly now tied for conference lead with one loss apiece, with one final game between them remaining.

    yea tied for 1st in conf..we play mount one more time, we still have to play west stanly twice also

    Mount beat Monroe 10-0 last night.
    WP- Odell
    HR - Benton

    Tonight Mount topped JM Robinson 9-4

    WP- Furr
    HR- Taylor

    Next up for Mount is the Easter tourney at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. They also announced at the game tonight that Mount will play South Meck the Saturday after Easter. If I'm not mistaken, that will be the fourth game of the week for both teams. Should provide unusual pitching matchups, but a good game non the less.
