Round 1 - Cherryville vs Pineville

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it do to to anther event such a little league that has already been schedule in advance.FWI the game tomorrow game 2 will be played at Jack Hughes Park in Pineville at 7 O'clock .So I hope to see everyone tomorrow come and cheer for Pineville as they go for the upset

Pretty good ball game but was sloppy at times. Hopefully Post 100 is able to clean up some errors and win another one.

Good game last night. Really impressed by the way Cherryvilles relief pitcher handled the Pineville batters. Pretty good for a young man who did not pitch since his junior year of high school. It was a rough start for Post 100 but they stuck with there game plan and played pretty good defense. Still too many errors but what do ya do.

Real show of class by the 7-16 Pineville coaches and players. I only know the events from what I heard on the radio so I'll let SUMO or somebody in attendance fill us in on the details. Both Pineville coaches ejected and Pineville coach and players pretty much threw everything in the dugout out onto the field in response to what they felt was a bad call by the umpire. Classy Pineville, really Classy!!

 

I can't speak about tonight game as I was not at the game let put it this way. Pineville should file a protest in this series. Pineville was screwed yesterday big time.It one thing to lose a series to a better team and it not an anther thing to lose a series when the umpire favorite anther team. I don't get and maybe someone can explain this to me. When you play a team why does the umpire have to come from that city. Yesterday umpire was from Cherryville. Now as far Pineville goes, I call this season a very disappointing one. Because Pineville had the talent but what hurt this team is a way too many errors.

 

Get off the couch and go to the game. Don't believe everything you hear on the homer radio. The Pineville team was playing hard. They wanted this game and was going to play to the end. Props to Phil Youtsey the coach for getting his team ready to play. The umpires in this series was horrible. I would of got tossed the night before when mr. Padgett blew a play at the plate right in front of him. The first game our favorite MLB dad umpire blew a call at first when the player from Cherryville was pulled from the bag. The 8 seed was playing hard. Good luck to Cherryville. The rest of our division will not be so easy.....

 

You know last night I was in the press box I had a great view of that play at home plate and I can say not 100% but 1000% that the Cherryville runner was out at home plate it was no where near close
