    East had the ball on the 5 1st and goal with about 9 min. to go in the 4th quarter and did QB draw, QB draw, pass, and HB pass and did not score and that seemed to be the game because if East scores there, the momentum changes and maybe a different outcome but the Eagles had a heck of a year and not many people thought they would be here.

    S Meck won 10-7. Another fine season for the Rockets though. Looks like their offense tailed off a bit toward the end of the season.

    kind of hard to score when ou only run 1 play about 90% of the time. acr's coaches really tighten up in the playffs for the second year in a row they don't scor in the second half.

    I don't blame it on the coach. I think it was the fact that they finally had some competition and it showed again just like last year.

    Were you at the game tonync55? ACR had 2 td passes dropped and had 1 fieldgoal taken off the board due to penalty. SM had edge in first downs 16-13. ACR had edge in total yardage 307-257. Penalties were even and turnovers were even. It was 2 good teams going at each other and 1 team made 1 more play than the other. In no way was SM better than ACR.

    They were at least better by 3 points.

    I wasn't at the game but have heard several complaints about them running the same play over and over and it not going anywhere. Wasn't there, so I don't know for sure.

    However, when everything is said and done it was a good season for the Rockets.
