    Look out Raleigh, Alexander Central is coming back after falling short in 2010. Lady Cougars beat Porter Ridge tonight 7-1. AC plated 5 runs in the 2nd inning including a lead off opposite field HR from Kahlie Payne. The game was over after that 2nd inning. Cougars will be looking for State Championship #7 next weekend. Huge crowd tonight in Taylorsville including a nice turnout from Porter Ridge. The game must have drawn close to a dozen college coaches as well.

    I knew this last year when the coach said he took responsibility for their loss last year. He didn't make ANY excuses!
