Ryan Bouton to Grinnell College

Ryan Bouton has made his commitment to attend Grinnell College. Ryan is a great player who is also a tremendous student. He epitomizes WHY college bound athletes need to be students first. Ryan now plays for Panther Creek under Harry Jones and has been their starting catcher for the past three years. Previously, Ryan also played three years under Ron Powell and the Cary Bulls (Post 67). He also played for the Western Wake Wildcats (Wake Wildcats). The Wildcats had a steep tradition in CHARACTER, being a STUDENT, and of course an ATHLETE. He’s now the 3rd player from this organization that has committed to playing at the next level following Joe Pistacchio (App State) and Daniel Sondag (Case Western University). Not bad considering this team only carried 11 players per season. Ryan has been a solid catcher, can definitely hit and IMO is one of the best blockers/framers in the Tri-9.

I’m really proud of him and his accomplishment.
