    Umpires

I hope your umpires are better than they were last year in Florence, SC. Out of all the tournaments we played in your organization had to be the worst next to ISA. Your umpires wouldn't even allow anyone to ask a question.

A lot of coaches were together discussing this and everyone ran into this situation. I umpire as well along with coaching.

Your and umpire not a god. You job is not to be seen. You need to find some that do not want to be the center of attention.

    RE: Umpires

Not trying to sound rude, but evidently you didn't read my post closely before passing judgement on my tournaments. I work only the UPSTATE of ASA South Carolina (Spartanburg, Greenville, Anderson) so I have nothing to do with the tournaments or umpires in Florence, but I can promise you that our tournaments are head and shoulders above any other ASA tournaments in S.C.
I feel our umpires we hire do a very good job and did not hear much complaining throughout last season about them. If the ones in Florence were as bad as you make them out, then I don't blame you for being upset, but I hope you will play one in the upstate and then judge ASA in S.C.
I'm sure your team will have a great time if you would give us a try.

ernie does a great job in lower SC ASA too and i am sure you folks do as well.

umpires are rarely the problem in this game.
