I haven't seen many rosters yet. I know of certain players on teams, but haven't seen full rosters, with the exception of Asheville. I'd like to wait until I see the team's roster before commenting on how good they will be.

Pineville will be pretty good this year. However, next year they will be the team to beat. With all of the connections they have with the college coaches, their facility and the first choice of Charlotte players, I'll be shocked if they aren't stocked. Pineville has just made the league stronger, and they've created another rivalry with Lake Norman, Ft Mill and Statesville...plus the reduction of not having to travel to Tennessee makes it easier on everybody.

I saw a picture of Coach Shue's ring...SWEET!!!!! I sure hope I can get one.

There is absolutely no question that Ken Oliver's hot dogs at Lake Norman are the best anywhere. It's that "special" ingredient in your dogs and the chili that make the difference----this advertisement is supported by my son!

The SCBL league is rapidly growing as a tremendous place to play. I believe Pineville will get the same support as Statesville from their fans and Lake Norman showed they can, too, gather support. I can say this with complete confidence: The league championship series is as good as you will find; intense and well supported.

The one area I hope the league addresses is the All Star game. It can be a much better experience for the players and fans.

Although the league has been around for quite some time, I believe it is in their infancy stage of where it will be in the next 5 years. Savvy baseball people will dominate in running the league and with businessman like Jeff Carter in control of its direction...the sky is the limit.
