I know about SC, WL and Bunker Hill. What kind of team does Shelby have? SC will be way to strong for WL and BH to handle. BH and WL should be competitive with each other and be a good game. How will Shelby match up with SC?

First of all, SC will not be way too strong for WL. WL has one of the best young pitchers in the area, and if SC scores, it won't be a lot. They also have some other good players, not loaded top to bottom, but not bad. They may not be overly prepared, but they will compete easily with SC if the ace pitches, and probably be the favorite.

Shelby will be the weakest by far. Unfortunately, it has been that way for several years, and the feeder program is still not in place, and no travel ball.

Any others want to weigh in here?

From the previous post, this should be a very entertaining tournment, at this point of our season (SC) we have had trouble scoring runs, so from what I am reading above, this should be a very good tournment, the winner will be the team that is having a good couple days.

Come on up and enjoy, we will have some really good cooks preparing food for you...

Bunker Hills team is way down from what they have had in the past. They play hard and don't give up till the end but just don't have the talent they have had in the past. I have saw WL this year but haven't seen SC yet. I do know SC hasn't won a game so far but I still think they sould be to much for the other 3 teams in this tournament.
My picks here are for SC to win with WL and BH battling for second.
Please don't take this the wrong way but couldn't you guys have gotten some stronger teams for this tournament. I usually try to come see this one but would like to see a little better group of teams. This used to be a very good two days of softball with some strong competition and exciting games.

Can't find my crystal ball so won't know until it's over as to who has the best two days of ball playing. BUT if memory serves me correctly SC wasn't too much for WL at last years Easter tourney and don't expect so this year either. Pretty sure we came in second to Freedom, with SC third and Bunker Hill last.......I think BH was the 4th team there last year but could be wrong on that. Should be entertaining though and GOOD LUCK to all the girls involved.

The Bunker Hill senario is quite misleading. It is my understanding from sources within the program that the coach has been letting younger, less experienced players play in key spots. For example, last week there were 7 errors in one inning. If the starters were in, it could have been a different story. I'm not sure if it was punishment issues or just getting the younger girls playing time. Bunker Hill has talent, if they leave the line-up alone. (Just my two cents).:lalala:

    SC Easter Tourney

Looking forward to watching WL's Ashley Rhyne pitch next week!!!!. WL will be a contender. Not sure about Shelby but last year SC was strong. As for BH, they have alot of young tallent that deserves more playing time!!!! The errors in the Maiden game were made by SENIORS!!! BH did not play in any preseason scrimmages and had no conditioning or practices until tryouts. They practice and play on the BH optimist field so they are limited to 2 hours of practice and no Saturdays. You really can't expect them to be very successful....:N1IneeddrugsHL4:
