    i have always heard that the young lady at north davidson could see west forsyth high scool from her front porch,but wf had a pitcher that was a jr and she would have to pitchjvs for 2 yrs. also how does someone who went to east rowan end up at cc??? no where close to each other??

    we had a similar thread last year that turned into a "lets trash cc" thread. lets not go there this year. I've given examples that have occured in my district, as have others. it is a common occurance in our state, and some form of control needs to be enforced. i think we can all agree on that. there are circumstances that would need to be considered, such as moving for the job, etc, etc, and we hope that the people who enact these rules will consider the possibilities that some move for other reasons than just to get into a better program. jmo

    Fair?

    Is it fair that a new school is built, not approved by the voters and then kids made to attend that school and leave their current one? No matter what grade they are in and what classes they take or sports they play. If they want to stay at their current school, then they must sit out of sports for one season due to the transfer policy that has never been enforced by our school board.
    You also have to remember we are a whole lot smaller community than Charlotte or Greensboro.

    boy did i step on some toes?? i never accused anyone or any coach or any school of doing anything wrong , just asking a ?? now i am sorry if someone took it the wrong way and people need to read a little more careful before you start blamming a person with a simple ? or 2. good luck to both schools that i was supposedto be putting down!!
