    Willie Harper rushes for 226 yards and surpasses Carey Metts as AC Reynolds ALL-TIME leading rusher with 4,526 rushing yards. AC Reynolds holds Freedom to 54 rushing and 90 yards passing, while rushing for 302 themselves.

    This game was played in a 3 hour deluge that never let up. The field looked like a national wetland refuge when the game was over. But 3rd ranked 3A W. Rowan did what they had to do and put Mooresville away early and let their defense, which is very good, control the line of scrimmage the rest of the way. Mooresville fumbled at least 15 times if you count all the muffed snaps, two of them deep in their own territory contributing directly to the last two Falcon scores. But the Mooresville defense played well and should be commended for their efforts against a very good opponent.

    here is a shocker from 4A.......

    W. Forsyth 13
    Mt. Tabor 12

    Mt. Tabor was 7-0 and ranked 3rd in the state by massey ratings and W. Forsyth was 3-4 and ranked 48th. This game was also played in a monsoon.
