on a wet and sloppy field tonight.

It started raining at kick off and rained, drizzled, misted most of the first half.

Ragsdale took the opening kick off and scored from the 50 in three plays - two Mullins to Jarvis Siler completions for 51 yards, the last a 25 yard TD.

Trinity had nothing for Ragsdale defense tonight. No passing game, and Ragsdale stuffed or strung out the run all night. Trinity had one first down in the first half - maybe 20-30 yards offense in total. Ragsdale couldn't run in the first half either.

Ragsdale came after the punter all night - Brandon Phelps finally blocked one and Ragsdale took it in on an 18 yard pass from Mullins to Anthony Caldwell.

Jeremy Benton finally ripped off about a 75 yard run to start the third for Trinity but Ragsdale ran him down on the three, and Trinity ended up going back to the 13 in three plays then missed a FG wide right. That was the only time Trinity came close.

Benton later went out with an injury, hit on an incomplete pass - he was down prone for awhile - was khelped off and never came back.

Ragsdale couldn't really move much although they ran the ball better in the 2nd half - in the fourth Cameron Booker intercepted a pass and ran it back to the 8. Derek Waden scored from there on the next play - and that was the final 19-0.

Mullins was 7-16 for 132 yards and 2 TDs.

Booker had 15 carries for about 49 yards and the INT on D.

CJ Brinson ran 5 times for about 50.

Siler caught 3 passes for 64 yards and a TD. Anthony Caldwell 3 for 39 and a TD. Travis Meredith caught 1 for 29 yards.

Those are all the stats I had.

Good win for Ragsdale now 5-2. - I was worried about them being able to pass in the rain and was worried about Benton getting loose for Trinity but Ragsdale played tough on the line all night.
