Shouldn't be difficult, but remember this is the Guilford County school system you're talking about and High Point is considered the ugly stepchild by the school board.

You are so right about HP being the stepchild...I said back when they combined the systems that it was a big mistake!!!! And Grier keeps digging the hole deeper. Andrews and Central were stong in the classrooms as well as in the sports dept (girls and boys). Now look at the turmoil. We weren't allowed to switch schools unless the other school offered a subject we couldn't get at our assigned school and can anyone understand the maps for the school district (HP area) anyway...I have never figured out his plan for HP but he has something frentic going on...
Well, enough of that...my dd came home with 8 min to go and the score 7-0...said that every Carver player looked like a giant bus.

Hunter Huss 27 Crest 24

Fresh off of getting beat by Harding The Huskies play a great game vs Crest. This was the Huss squad that many said could play for a con. title and they are back in the mix. Crest just didn't get enough pressure on Miller. The Crest DB's are on the short side so they needs that pressure at the line and they just didn't get it. Needless to say, Coach Kirby was not a happy camper after the game. The team and fans were just lifeless. There was no emotion on the Crest side, and Huss came out ready to jump off buildings.

Crest better bring a better effort Friday or East Gaston will wear them out.

Huss can be a dangerous team in the playoffs. They have great athletes and their passing game seems to be the real deal.

The Big South could have some teams that make some noise in the playoffs...

And I think if Ashbrook gets in as a low seed ( a win over Huss on Nov. 3rd is their 4th win) they are scary for a higher seed. Snyder, the starting QB, is getting healthy after being out most of the season. Hall, the RB, is load to bring down. They are huge up front on both lines. This was a team picked to the win con. before all of the injuries. I don't know if I want to be a one or two and see Green Wave get in, but of course that is a big if.
