Don't know the exact numbers, but I believe Breitenstein had 250+ yds while Kincaid had 150+. Watauga 8-0 for the first time in school history.

Breitenstein had 301 yards rushing and 2 TD's. MHS just was out coached and could not tackle anyone. I think we only have 1 running play and that is up the middle everytime. Try an option or a sweep or something different.

Anyone have any comments about the refs. These guys were a joke. They cost Watauga a couple of scores in the 1st half. Everytime there was a close call they would have a conference before making the call. It was usually the wrong call. On 4th and goal for Watagua one ref says TD the other says McDowell ball and from there it went on all night.

Watauga has a well coached team and all there players give 110% on every play. Good luck next week with Reynolds. Where is the game going to be played?

Ragsdale was trailing 15-0 at the half. Finally breaks a 3 game losing streak and is 3-4 on the season.

I missed my first Ragsdale game in several years - too damn cold and rainy for me and my ear infection tonight

The Blue Devils of Mooresville played a gritty defense against the highly touted Falcons from W. Rowan but could not get any help from their counterparts on the other side of the ball. Mooresville trailed 3-0 at the half and turn-overs coupled with a few penalties squashed their only threats in the second half. W. Rowan may be a little over-rated but they have a talented defense. Mooresville falls to 2-5 (1-2) on the season and travels to Lake Norman next Friday.

The only time McDowell's offensive line took any control of the trenches, Buggy took it 96 yards for a score. The rest of the night our O'Line got it handed to us by a D'Line that was about equal to us. Then our defense as a whole stunk up the joint.

Watauga has a great team without a doubt.

The Trojans held the Greyhounds to only one first down and roughly 16 yards in total offense en route to a 9 to nothing shutout. Andrew Crutchfield kicked three field goals, including a 48-yarder. He also hit a 52-yard punt that pinned the Greyhounds back at their own 13 yard line.
