    Mooresville 10

Mooresville led the whole way but Lake Norman punched home a late TD to take the lead. Mooresville had one last chance to get within field goal range but came up inches short on a 4th down play and turned the ball over on downs. Lake Norman tried their best to give the game away with 2 lost fumbles, and interception, two missed field goals, and a missed extra point. Mooresville ends the season at 0-11. I cant recall the last time that happened. Someone said it was in the late 50's.

lets keep the Hibriten/AC comments out of this score thread. It's OK to post them in the thread already started in this forum.

This thread is for SCORES ONLY.

    Thanks

    48-7 Hibriten rolls.

They could have put up 60, easy. and they laid on the ball the last 6min of the game.

Good game to watch...Erwin got a pair of 1st quarter scores but Asheville and their size took over. Asheville went on a 10 minute drive at the start of the 2nd half and really shortened the rest of the game.

and it wasn't even that close. It was 0-0 after one. 24-0 at half time.

    I'll recap it later

Raiders said to have lost their starting qb with a broken collar bone or separated shoulder. That sucks. The kid has a great arm and a set of wheels. We'll know more tomorrow.
