    McDowell 20

    This game was decided at the line of scrimmage. Cougars O & D-Line too big and strong for the Titans. Cougars offense scored on every possession but the very last possession in which got a 3 and out.

    McDowell's offense I thought was okay. After the game got to 20-0, McDowell opened up the passing game. Even in a rout, I think McDowell showed promise throwing the ball. Davon was once again Davon, 218 yards and all three TD's for the Titans. Not sure the exact number of carries but I would guess around 30.

    Looks like if McDowell is going to win games, it will have to be in a high-scoring shootout.

    i heard they were down 17-6 with 5 minutes left in the game and scored the winning touchdown with less than 10 seconds on the clock!

    NW4AWATCHER: I believe #57 for Watauga is Will Davis. At least that's the kid I heard on the radio was taken via ambulance to the hospital. It seemed like he was out of the game for awhile before they decided to take him out in the ambulance -- like it wasn't a terrible rush or emergency -- but that's just the feel I got listening on the radio, so I'd hate to speculate. If it is Will Davis he's missed time with a shoulder injury so I was thinking maybe it was separated or maybe a broken bone or something -- both very serious -- but football injuries can potentially be much worse. If I can find anything out I'll post it ASAP.

    BUBBA: THANK YOU! WE HAVE NOW HEARD THEY FLEW HIM TO BAPTIST AND HE IS CURRENTLY IN SURGERY FOR BRAIN HEMORRHAGE. DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH OF THIS IS TRUE. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU HEAR ANYTHING. VERY SERIOUS INJURY IF THIS IS TRUE. PRAY FOR HIM.

    It is a serious injury to Davis. It has something to do with a severe concussion. Everyone pray for him. Hope he is alright.
