    Dunno how many Kincaid had.... But its deja vu from the Enka game. Titans just need to kick the PAT and force a second overtime. Instead, McDowell calls 3 timeouts (which IMHO, ices Cameron Webb), and McDowell decides to go for it.....And Matt Amerto's pass is intercepted or batted down in the end zone.

    It was characterized in The McDowell News after the Enka loss as a gamble that Dave Haynie took responsibility for. Seems to me he needs to stop gambling.


    Those kids did a great job and gave it their alll. A win would have allowed the Titans to paint the town BLUE. I just hope this doesn't affect them next week at Watauga.

    What a heartbreaker..... the kids can't play any harder than they're playing and the coaches want to gamble with a win... go figure.
    There were several play calls tonight that you have to wonder about. Was the coaching staff watching the same game our guys were playing ??
    Got to give credit to Freedom they've got one heck of a kicker... that 33 yard field goal was nice and the 40+ yard attempt. Somethig Titan fans don't get to celebrate in ..
    Let's keep that Titan Spirit up and ready ourselves for Watauga..
    Maybe Haynie and his crew will get with the program and not keep repeating the same mistakes.

    Mooresville trailed 21-10 at the half and never fully recovered from that deficit. After pulling to within 21-17 and then 31-24 an interception gave the Trojans the ball deep in Blue Devil territory and they punched home the clincher with little time left on the clock. QB Jeremy Cannon for NWC is a player. The Mooresville defense got destroyed trying to contain him and then they rammed the ball down their throats with the rushing game. Its no surprise this NWC team made it to the 3AA Western Regional Finals last season before losing to Charlotte Catholic. There is now a 5-way tie for first place in the NPC 3A after the shocking upset of W. Iredell over W. Rowan.

    acr 27-ac 17. acr had about 20 penalties and starting qb went out in 2cd qtr. backup played the rest of the way

    what happend (to the QB), why all the penalties?
