Scouts at CPL games

    Though my son played in the Coastal Plain League last year, I didn't get to see that many games with him being on the Columbia team. I know the CPL is not near the level as the "Cape". But, I do wonder how much scouting is done at games in this league... anybody know?

    My son played CPL a couple of years ago and only saw one scout all summer. I am not sure what that means ... he is being highly recruited right now, but he was a rising sophomore then so they really didn't have to see him then, but there were a
    lot of good players in the league.

    that's where my son is now. he'll be back in thre CPL this summer in Asheboro... much closer to home! He enjoyed last summer and learned a lot. The kids learn pretty quickly how much they love it with the long bus rides and the pb&j sandwiches!
