splity, Hollifield pitched for Alexander..He threw 5 innings gve up 5 runs (3 earned) and really pitched well after the 1st inning..ACHS just couldnt get started on Offense, seems like they've cured their defensive problems from last year, but their offensive wose continue..But,. this was my first game seeing them this year..

    Game was at Hickory.

The sophomore, Isaac Harrow, smacked a pair of doubles. John Patterson and Michael Baker got hits; Will Boyd, also a sophomore, hit a solo homer. Evan Parson drove in a run and made a great catch in left field...what speed this kid has!

Boyd (2-1) picked up the win and had 6 Ks; Josh Punch got the save.

Tornadoes have another tough assignment on Friday, when they host Newton-Conover.
