Splity my question to you is, do you think that you guys (East Burke) will dominate and run over every other team in the NW4A just like everyone thinks you will? And if not, then do you think that South Caldwell is your only competition or can Watauga give you a run for your money?Because after you guys,South, and Watauga it has repatedly been said that everyone else is just warmup games..

    ajax,

First of all I dont think that no team in the NW4A is going to be a push. Alexander, South and Watagua, East Burke and even McDowell could just catch a break and win the conference Ac Reynolds i dont know much about since they have a new coach.

I think that the teams that makes the least amount of errors and makes the plays will win conference. I think that We (east burke) should have a very good chance of winning conference but we just like all the others have to make the plays behind the pitcher and the pitcher has to make good pitches. This will be very close all the way through i dont think that NO team will go undefeated through conference. Just my 2 cense worth.

    Thursday's Results

OK, let's start posting today's results:

Burns paid a visit to Ashbrook and you could tell Burns had lost a lot of talent from last year. Ashbrook "won" (considering it's a scrimmage) 8-0. They played 8 innings. Ashbrook threw 4 pitchers, 2 innings each. The offensive highlights for Ashbrook were a grand slam by senior right fielder, Garrett Scarborough and a solo shot by junior Sammy Asis. Ashbrook threw a junior lefty, sophomore lefty, sophomore righty and junior righty. Burns also threw about 2 innings per pitcher, all righties and one lefty.

Ashbrook's game with Mt. Tabor on Saturday in Winston-Salem has been changed to Ashbrook tomorrow at 5:00. Mt. Tabor's field still had snow and ice as of today.
