    I did attend the very cold game Tuesday night..Matthews pitched 6 1/3 innings giving up 1 run while on the mound and then getting credit for the other run on the last play. Stephens brought in their closer to face the last hitter and he laid down a suicide squeeze. Alexander threw Hollifield for 5 innings, he allowed 1 or 2 hits walked 1 and gave up 1 run. Kinniard came in and faced the final 6 batters striking out 3 of them..Both kids pitched and excellent game with Hollifield really keeping Stephens hitters off-guard..The umpire had a very low strikezone helping Matthews a lot..ACHS hit him all game they just hit i right at the defenders. I think ACHS had about 6 or 7 hits..Anyone got any scores on any other NW4A teams?

    That game against Mooresville should be interesting if not just to see old acquaintances.

    No Kestner decided to be a cheerleader this spring. The word is that he is going to the University of Tenn. to cheer.

    For everyone needing a baseball fix..... What games are being played this weekend and where at? What time? Most of us are getting frustrated with the weather and just want to go "watch some ball"....
