    Its in the Pac 6 with our good buddy Coach Evans Roxboro Rockets. I bet you he is glad Sean is at LR and not Jordan!

    Looking into the future

    Three years from today: Braves and Coach 27 get on an elevator at MLB headquarters in NYC headed to see Bud Selig in order to get Sean a contract. Braves, a high-powered, Armani-suited baseball agent wannabe, reaks of aftershave and Coach 27 says, "What's that cologne?"

    Braves responds, "Chanel Egoiste, ninety-nine dollars a bottle."

    The elevator stops on the fourth floor and Scott Boras boards reaking of cologne. Coach 27 sniffs the air and Braves says, "Givenchy, a hundred and forty-nine dollars a bottle."

    The elevator stops on the sixth floor and Coach 27 moves to the front to exit, tilts up his butt, and farts. He says as he exits, "Baked beans, forty-nine cents a can."

    (Spruce Creek HS – Port Orange, FL)
    Powell comes to Belmont Abbey from the same high school as current Crusader first baseman Will Breslin. Highly recruited, Powell was Spruce Creek’s ace pitcher, as he led the team in wins, strikeouts and posted a 2.31 ERA. He ended his senior year with a 7-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio and can throw three pitches for strikes.

    Now y'all know good and well Grayben is from Wilson not Whiteville.

    I first saw Sean pitching with the Copperheads in the fall of 2006. Very tall (6'6"), very good mechanics and was able to place the ball anywhere he wanted. He was also pretty good with the bat. Hopefully, he will get a few swings in at LR this year. He should have a bright future ahead of him.

    i am glad he is not pitching against us... coaching Sean was a highlight of my coaching experiences. I love this kid!! I wish him nothing but the best!!

    I agree

    Sean has tons of potential and with Coach Hendricks guidance he should/will become an outstanding pitcher. Good young man also!! Wish him the best!
