    WP - Ben Page (1-0)
    Sv - Nick Rogers (2)

    LP - Kyle Barthelson

Houston Summers (NW) hit a grand slam to lead the Vikings 7-run rally in the 4th after falling behind 5-0.

NW pitchers Page, Will Cornelius and Rogers combined to hold off the Knights the rest of the way.

The Panthers ran into Zack Rosenbaum, one of the top pitchers in North Carolina and were handed their first Loss of the Season, 3-0. The usually potent Panther attack managed only two hits as Rosenbaum mixed a perfect blend of 86-88 mph fastballs with a nasty curve & tricky off-speed pitches. Shane Small started and took the loss for Providence. Shane pitched well but ran into control problems in the third, when 3 walks, an infield hit and several wild pitches/passed balls plated 3 runs for the Vikings. Spencer Hendel pitched 3 shutout innings in relief.

    WP-Greg Conrad (2-0)
    LP-Staton Smith

Greg Conrad pitched the complete game win, throwing a 2-hitter, with 9 Ks and allowing 3 unearned runs. Leading hitters tonite for Olympic were Wes Brunson 2-3, 1 RBI, Nate Staton 1-2, 3 RBIs and Greg Conrad 2-4, 3RBIs. Dusty White was the starting pitcher for Hopewell, pitching the first 4 innings. He pitched very well but got a no decision.
The wind and cold contributed to several errors for both teams.
