Sectional Final Preview...

    Two big sectional finals going on in the local area...

    Hopewell @ South Meck

    Harding Univ. @ McDowell


    The Harding/McDowell game could be a really good game. From what I have heard, Harding is a quick team that can run with the Lady Titans, but speed dosen't always win games for you. McDowell must continue to pound the ball inside to Kiser and Smith. Be patient in the halfcourt and limit turnovers, which ever team can do that has the best chance of winning.

    IMHO, South Meck has a regional berth on a silver platter, all they have to do is come out and take care of business against Hopewell. This is a huge game for the Lady Sabres just because they have not been able to advance past a sectional final. The longer this game stays close, the more pressure on the Lady Sabres.

    I have seen Hopewell and Mcdowell and if they were to play I would have to pick Hopewell especially if the Hopewell girls get hot from behind the arc. Haven't seen S. Meck but from what I have heard they should be able to handle both Hopewell and Mcdowell. Still I have to pull for Mcdowell against the Charlotte teams.
