    Randleman over South Granville 8-4

    SG leads early 2-0 with RBI fielders choice in 1st, solo HR in 2nd, Randleman scratches 1 in bottom of second with walk, wild pitch, and a hit, then score 4 in the 3rd on a couple of hits and a couple of defensive miscues, 3 more in 4th on 3-R HR by Linthicum, (also winning pitcher with 9 Ks in 6 innings), sophomore closer Welch also bringing nice velocity, SG scratches a run in top of 5th, one more in top of 6th, but one on a sacrifice fly ball, and another on a wild pitch...even though SG got 7 hits off Linthicum (had only given up 12 all year), the telltale stat is 0/5 with RISP, while Randleman was something like 3/7 with RISP

    South Pointe/Hickory

    Walden threw a complete game for South Pointe. They have a pretty nice 1-2 punch. Poole took the loss for Hickory.
