Senoir night

    we always talk alot about great players but how about the players that are good but not able to break the starting lineup. Senoir night is coming up...playing against a team that we should handle easily...couple of senoirs on the team that are decent players but only play occasionly...am I wrong to think they should get to start and play the whole game on senior night?

    Remember, "You play to win the Game" However if a team can do that and play a senior the whole time I have no issue.

    eight years of coaching hs ball, and thats how we played it. starter or not, seniors started that game....

    Start the Seniors

    My daughter had contrasting experiences on her two senior days. Of course she started in HS and had, perhaps the best game I've ever seen a HS player have. Threw a one-hitter striking out 15 and went 4-4 with two HR's and a triple. Very memorable experience.

    In college she threw the school's first seven inning no-hitter on the Saturday before Sunday's senior day. While my DD rarely played the field she was a very capable outfielder and hitter. Despite this fact the schools all-time leader in victories, strikeouts and lots of other categories was not in the starting lineup on Senior Sunday. I don't she will ever forgive her college coach for this.
