You can be assured that when and if South Meck meets up with East Meck and/or Charlotte Christian at the Shelby Spring Break tourney, the fans will flock and the fire works will begin! Coach Hal Bagwell and his well-rounded Sabre team at South Meck this year have strength in their pitching staff led by junior, T. J. Worrell, and will be strong from behind the plate as well with their hitting staff from several Sabres this year. The Sabres are well coached and are solid in both defense and offense. With 5 starting juniors and 1 starting sophomore, Coach Bagwell will be looking toward his 3 starting seniors and captains, Elliott Arrington (1B), Kyle Shelton (SS), and Brandon Stanford (C) to bring some experience to this young Sabre team.

I believe that Jamie Ray has committed to East Carolina. The guy is a hitting machine.
