    Did you think there would be an Area IV playoff without this matchup. I can't wait until it starts. The teams split in the regular season with each team winning at their home field. I wouldn't expect anything else but a 5 game series.

    It seems as though Cherryville has hurt yet another player on the opposing team (Rutherford County the other), although this one was no one's fault. James Gold was playing 1st Base when a wild throw took him off the bag and a Cherryville player ran through James' arm. Today we found out that James Gold broke his shoulder. James wanted it almost more than anyone and it's a shame that he want have anything to do with it. Again it wasn't the Cherryville players fault, I just hate it for him. Best of luck to you James and maybe Shelby can rally in Game 2 for you.

    Somebody sounds a little bitter. Still not over that fabulous streak Caldwell County put together at the end of the year? Are they looking for a coach yet?
