Our son has received a few letters recently, after attending Perfect Games tournament at East Cobb, inviting him to participate in other "Show Case" events, Top Gun down in Florida and another Perfect Games Show Case at Ch. Hill. Usually the cost to attend is between $500-$700, plus hotel, meals etc. I know some of you have been through this before. How do you know if this is worthwhile or not?

    Deacon32,

If your son is playing on a showcase team of a caliber that would attend tournaments at East Cobb, I would say that he is being seen plenty. "Showcase events" are just that and some can be quite expensive. There are a number of good ones and some aren't so good. In your case I would say, save your money and stick with his team it will most likely be enough. Good Luck.
