Tonight will be the final showdown this year for McDowell and Freedom. We all know it is hard to beat a good team 3 times in one year. McDowell will have to beat a good Freedom team 4 times this year to keep their playoff hopes alive. One advantage I see the titans having is the competition they have had to beat to get here. No direspect intended toward south caldwell but the 2 charlotte teams I watched play at McDowell were taller and quicker than the lady spartans. It should be a great game and the winner should represent the Nw4A very well next week.

Well Tony I see you have your gameface on this morning. As you said this makes the 5th time that McDowell and Freedom has faced off this year (too many times IMO). Freedom has went from a team struggling their way into the playoffs to a team that's maybe catching a 2nd wind in a matter of one week, that concerns me a bit. Ford hasn't really went off on anybody but Connelly has stepped up her game. McDowell's defense (and Jessica in particular) has another big task ahead of them and that is slowing down Ali for a third time. Gellman has stepped up her game in the past couple weeks, for McDowell to be a regional contender we must have good production from the post. As always, this game should be fun to watch.

Your right Bigdan,I've got my gameface on today and this time I know where to take it{LOL}.I don't see a blowout tonight like we saw at the titan dome a couple weeks back. This one will be back and forth with one team pulling away at the 5 minute mark in the 4th. If jessica plays like she has the past several games it may be another long night for Ali. We'll see.:newsmile50:

    McDowell by 10+.
Plain and simple McDowell is more disciplined and better coached.

Just to add a little more interest into tonight's matchup, with a McDowell win Mike Silver will tie Thomas Jackson (650 wins) for 2nd All-Time career wins in North Carolina. It took Jackson 45 years to reach the 650 win plateau (398 losses) while Silver is in his 32 year as McDowell. The #1 All-Time winning coach is Tom Pryor who put together a 702-244 record in 43 years of coaching, Silver has an pretty good chance of breaking that record with an even better winning percentage in a significantly less amount of time.
