missed the point

guess you missed my point.

 

most parents don't realize, a college coach can see all they need to see in warm ups. They see size, speed, arm, etc. You think if you go 3 for 4 one game in front of a college asst coach you are getting "noticed"? Please.

not saying its impossible to stand out from a single game, but the tools have to stand out or they could care less how many hits you get, catches you make, or strikeouts you have. They know who is legit by word of mouth before they get to the parking lot.

the most important thing, is show the skill or tools you have when you play another coach who has street cred with colleges, because those guys love saying "you gotta check out so and so" and that gets the ball rolling for your kid.

Left out 1 thing though, ATTITUDE.
Show those other coaches you win or lose with dignity and respect and they may mention it too.
Throw a fit, act unsportsmanlike, or show a bad attitude and I gaurantee those coaches with credibility will mention that when talking to a college coach.
Remember, there are soooo many players they are looking at. Most college coaches are looking for a reason to strike you off thier list.
