Due to many requests, The Lady Blues are having a showcase day on October 20, 2007 at UNCC beginning 8:30am for pitchers and catchers and 10am for position players. The cost is $100 which will include a t-shirt, profile booklet, and any assistance on the proper format to use in the recruiting process.

We have averaged 12 college coaches per session and they get to see you work out on "stage" where they can evaluate U more in one half day than they can watching an entire weekend of tournament ball.

UNCC has a great facility and you can tour the campus to get a feel of a D-1 school.

We will take the first 50 young ladies so please get your check in the mail with your profile! If U do not send a profile, we can not provide U a spot in our coaches booklet. All entries much be in by October 10, 2007!

Send checks and profiles made out to "Lady Blues Gold" 13720 Jonathan's Ridge Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227, make sure U provide contact information including e-mails and all phone contacts. Provide class in school and birthdate so we can place u in proper bracket.

Look forward to another great event.

Great to see the "show"case goes on! My DD went to two of LB's showcases and it is like having the coaches in your living room. The girls get undivided attention and a great skills set put on by the Blues coaches. You will have no excuses for not having a college coach see your DD perform, then if they are interested they will find you on the field in the summer to watch you play. But like Rodney stated, don't wait because it will fill up!:hyper:

Yes she is there but when she compares 20 hours of practice to 20 hours of friends its hard for her to begin to try. Plus, got to keep grades up for scholarship. But she does miss it especially with UNCG playing the USA National team next season. jarrettfan, you need to encourage all those that can to go to LB Showcase, it is well worth the money. How many times have you been to a showcase tourn. and wondered where the coaches were? You won't have to worry about that at this event!

    Coaches

Over 75 coaches heve been invited. Not saying how many will show as U never know, honestly. Just ask any of the teams or organizations that run tourneys. However I expect most of NC schools, some of SC schools and a couple from VA. I challenged all colleges with Lady Blues players that had played for them, to attend, if that would happen we will have plenty.

Tennessee, NC State, Furman, UNCC, Maryland,USC-UPstate, Lenior Rhyne, College of Charleston, Belmont Abbey, Mt. Olive, Tusculum, App. State, Longwood, Gardner-Webb, Wingate, Queens Univ.and UNC-W just to name a few.
