Showcase in Savannah Deadline Approaching

    The Summer "TEAM" Showcase is June 22-24, 2012 in Savannah, GA. The deadline to enter is May 1, 2012. To register, go to the web site and download an entry form.

    The Southern Star in Savannah is unique in that we have 13 fields all within 2 miles of each other, so no matter where you play, coaches are only minutes away from each park. We provide plenty of food and a free trolley service between parks for the coaches as well. Not only that, but you don't have to worry about having hotel rooms 75 or more minutes from the park or bumper to bumper traffic holding you up. We have over 60,000 hotel rooms within 25 minutes of the parks and access is easy.

    The event can hold up to 90 teams with 90 minute games. Over 65 teams from 8 states have already registered to attend. College coaches from all over the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest have already committed to make their regular stops at the Southern Star again this year.

    18u Gold, 18u A and 16u A teams are invited to attend. Any team with players who have a desire to play in college are invited to attend. We do not exclude anyone and welcome all teams to enter. We are an equal opportunity showcase and proud of it! (if you have ever been turned down because your team was not on the "A" list, you know what I mean)

    This year at the request of the college coaches, we are allowing a limited number of 14u A teams as well.
