Now this is a real showcase

Rumor has it that Braves is trying to host this event to compete with the Impact Invite. He plans on having plenty of Hooters girls walking around handing out chicken wings.

Braves :189: plans on being at the front gate to greet everyone.

I can't help but wonder which tournament will attract more scouts/coaches!!!

This rumor is false....I would never compete against an Andy event, but I have a feeling I might draw a few coaches.

What makes you think there is ANYTHING moderate about Stretchy? The more extreme, the better, for him. Heck, he'd be allowing virtual brass knuckles, AK47s, and IEDs. He'd have multiple usernames to fan flames, and incite name calling. He'd post inflated radar readings, false scouting reports, and nonexistent heroics of fictional ball players who play for teams yet to be named, so delusional dads could come on here and rant about all the injustices of baseball. His only criterion for the worth of a kid as it relates to baseball?? How good lookin' is...Yo Mama!!!!

And I'm sure you cut them no slack whatsoever by being the plate ump for that game. Your twisted delight at watching coaches squirm is only exceeded by your rabid, maniacal indulgence into the give-and-take, up-and-down, back-and-forth tension that you can create for the dad of a high school pitcher.

    Got your back Stretchy!

I personally think Stretchy is the best umpire that has ever been behind the plate when my kid was on the mound! Hold on a minute Richard, I need to wash something off my nose. Please remember that if we have you for any of our games this year. I've always been told that flattery will get you everywhere. Hope this is true!

I've read quite a few posts on this topic over the last 8 or 10 years. This is...by far...the truest I've read.

Talent and passion, alone, won't take you to the upper pinnacles of the game. It is the consistent hard work born of dedication that connects talent and passion with a high degree of success.
