North Carolina pulls away in the second half to win. No details yet.

Looks like the Shrine Bowl Combines are working. North Carolina looked great today! First time NC has two wins in a row since 1972.
The Defense played super giving up only 25 yards rushing on 32 carries. Andre Brown selected N.C. offensive player of the game, rushing 16 times for 122 yards and a TD.

NC needs to start getting more notice as a pretty good football state. I think that when Miami and VA Tech start recruiting the area a little more it will help also.

Good job NC on the win.

....apparently, V-Tech has already started by signing the talented cornerback from West Charlotte, Rod Council.

Alot people still point to SC record in the Shrine Bowl but why aren't those people looking at all those years they got so many victories when North Carolina's best were not able to play because they had State Championship games on the same weekend the Shrine Bowl was played. Most of the sand-lapper wins were tainted

Danell Ellerbe of Richmond Sr named Defensive player of the game...hear he might be going to NC State with Jamar Byrant
