Sieara Bishop commits

    I know this is old news but I never saw a thread on it. Congrats to Sieara for committing to play softball at Furman. I am so happy for you and your family. You have worked very hard over the years and you deserve it.

    Awesome find!

    Sieara is a fantastic find for Dana Jenkins and Furman softball. This kid is a very well kept secret to most, but not to the coaches who have watched her play. Sieara came to the Lady Blues Elite about a year and a half ago, and she has been a delight. She plays SS and 2B equally well, and ain't afraid to dive and get dirty. Great hands with a very nice bat to boot.

    On top of being a great player, Sieara has got a great head on her shoulders. Top of her class academically, and always gives you 100%. The best part is that she is an extremely humble. Great competitor, but very humble.

    Gary and Margie, I'm sure you both are extremely proud and excited about your daughter finding such a great college home. You've done a fantastic job in raising her. Looking forward to the rest of the tourneys this summer/fall, and can't wait for Sieara to get to Furman!
