    Any news on who picked up Wil Lambert from East Montgomery, or has he been picked up yet?

    Blake Stickley, Weddington shortstop, has verbally committed to USC-Upstate.
    He played fall ball for Mark Tarleton and the Copperheads.

    Some College Coaches are going to be very upset that they didn't pick Wil up when they had the chance.........when he faces their team on the mound next year.

    Keep an eye on him this high school season.

    Grier Harrington to UNCA

    I didn't know if anyone had put it here yet, but congrats to Grier Harrington and his commitment to UNCA. A fine young man, and great pitcher. Grier will be a tremendous asset to that program.

    What a long strange trip it's been... in the end I think Grier has found a good fit for himself. After he saw the team and coaches interact when they were down here playing Campbell, he knew he wanted to be a part of that program.
    Having Catlin Carter, a Dirtbag teammate from this past year, and Carson McClean, a teammate from AAU days, as well as Jeremy Hall already in the '07class, he knew he was going to be with some great players as well as a really good group of teammates. I think they will all do well and have fun doing it!
    He'll be finding his way to your doorstep I'm sure!
    To all those that supported Grier and believed in him, I thank you all.

    Congratulations!

    Just wanted to congratulate Grier on signing with UNC-A. Another fine pickup for the Asheville to go along with several other great ballplayers. Gman's dad - just think, now you can sit back, relax, visit with Kevin and on your way home, stop by to see us!!!

    Congratulations G-Man and to Grier. I know you must be proud!!!!

    I really like what UNC-A is doing up there. Not only do they have high quality players, but they are terrific young men as well....and the parents aren't too bad themselves. It will be a rich experience.

    Again, congratulations, in what will be a terrific ride towards Grier's future.
