    18th Annual SMC Junior/Senior Showcase

    Spartanburg Methodist College will be offering a chance for you to showcase yourself in front of our staff, other college coaches and professional scouts at a low cost opportunity of $40 on January 21st, 2012.     ---Saturday Agenda---

    January 21th 2012​

    9:00-11:00 Registration-Campus Tours every 30 minutes-Q & A with Coaches, Financial Aid and Admissions​
    11:00-11:50 Program in Camak Auditorium: Tim Wallace-Head Coach, -Financial Aid
    12:00-12:45 Stretch/Run 60 yard dash (Numerical order)
    12:45-1:30 Outfielders/Infielders/Catchers throw
    1:30-3:00 Batting Practice (Numerical order)
    3:00-4:30 Pitchers throw to gun


    • All times are approximate and will be determined by the number in attendance.
    • When a player has completed his responsibilities on the field, he may leave.
    • Feel free to ask questions of our players throughout the day.
    • COST $40

    Another great opportunity

    and for only 40 bucks. How many posts do we read about "What do we need to do" "How does my son get interest from college coaches" "Do we have to spend thousands of dollars on a showcase team to get exposure" on and on it goes. And just about every month there is an opportunity just like this for players and these same people never respond, never take the time to go, don't want to take a short drive or spend 40 bucks? It boggles my mind actually.

    Is there any doubt if your a player capable of playing at the college level and you have no offers yet or don't know where you stand in all of this that this would be a great example of an opportunity to find out?

    For players that are wondering guess what? If you go and you show you will know. If you don't know and you don't go Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
