    Thanks to all the young ladies that signed up for our first annual event, we have 45 girls and 15 coaches attending the Lady Blues First Annual Showcase Day. We have one South Carolina player and NC girls from Murphy to Manteo. It was amazing how we were able to pull girls for every position on the field and not have over two (in each session)for any infield position except pitcher/catcher. Each session has been designed to get every young lady plenty of viewing time. Schools attending: UNCC, Elon, Longwood, Presbyterian, USCS, UNC-P, Queens, St Andrews, Belmont Abbey, Erskine, Wingate, Lees Mc Rae, Mars HIll, App State, Lenior Rhyne and UNC, Ga TEch, College of CHarleston, and Limestone are maybes. Again thanks to this boards rocks for getting this info out there and thanks to all coaches and players who supported this event. We hope it will grow over the years.     Great job on the showcase!! :applause: The two I took said they really enjoyed it --just as they fell over asleep. Wow what a workout!! Thanks Rodney for having this and it was nice to meet you. If you missed out you better jump on the next one!

    Nice!!!!! this is what its about on that end ......hate i missed just viewing the talented field of Players auditioning today!!!
    acfan, what....you didnt have to feed or shop on this trip.....lucky nite indeed for all (meeting more tbr softball friends is a added bonus though)!

    good luck this week and we are pulling for you guys down here.....well at least a few ole Crest/ERutherford followers and most TBR Softballers!! :applause:

    Thanks for the kind words, glad your kids enjoyed, they were quality players. Thanks for the insight on CC and the coach, maybe we can use some of that to play well against them Tuesday. If Butler plays well, we will give them a nice battle and I believe we can win. Thanks to all the girls that attended our SHowcase! It was really hot but all of U worked hard and supported each other. The coaches seem to enjoy, I guess we will see for sure when we have one in the fall! Ha Ha. :banana: :laugh1:

    Good luck to Butler girls and CC girls also as it will be a steamy game with the kind of heat going on down there. Hope to see you Friday.

    Ray, Assume he is talking about the 90+ temp we have had over the past week and experienced Sunday! Also, two quality teams playing hard and putting everything into their play will make it a steamy atmosphere. Both teams are passionate and both sides fans tend to get very much involved in the game. Expect a state championship atmosphere as the winner has an excellent chance to be 4A Champs. I can not wait to see this game and wish both teams good luck and safe playing (well a little more luck for Butler, at least one more run than Central) Ha HA. :rofl:
