The SoCal Athletics organization is on a roll. Their 18U team won the A's second consecutive PGF National Championship Saturday, beating the Worth Firecrackers in the championship game.

Also, their 16U team qualified for this year's ASA Gold National Championship, finishing tied for 9th.

I watched that game on television. The firecrackers should have brought the UT kid back in the game in the 6th. Both teams were very good.

    Great Game

I sat in the stands at that game and saw two very good teams go at it head to head. It shows that you never say die, even in the last inning. I was sitting next to a Firecrackers father and he was giving me the latest on some of the young ladies on that team. You can look for those players in the next two years playing at Stanford, Georgia, Arizona, Florida, Nebraska and the list went on and on. Quite impressive list...quite an impressive game and a great tournament in some great weather.

    Firecrackers

You will never see the Firecrackers without an impressive list. Their accomplishments as a team are just as impressive.

I checked their website. I'd say they're serious about their ball.
