I was there "wathcing". This was my first TB tournament. One of the girls I have worked with in the past and that will play school ball for me this weekend played 3 games with a 14U team and one with a 16u team. I did not get to see as much of the 18U play as I had planned but that was OK too. I will definitely be back. When is the next tournament in NC or SC. I just can't get enough. Me and the wife were there from 9:00 till around 6:00 and only new one player. Pretty good entertainment for $5.00 as we both love watching young people play.

Burlington at Springwood Park Oct31st and Nov1st, 16-18u showcase, several of the same teams will be there that played at Walnut Creek. This is a smaller venue but always a very well ran tournament, it is host by Greensboro College. Nice park you can watch 5 games within a few feet of each other, come out and enjoy.:SPcheer006cheerbril

    Wildcats are very good

Betancort is very solid. She understands how to pitch. Jones is a nice pick-up for coach Navas. She loves power and Leah has it. Our family enjoyed the day.

    Great Tournament!

Thanks to Robert, Nathan and the TFS organization for putting on an enjoyable tournament. The games stayed on time and the rain stayed away.

Our team played well all weekend and I was pleased to see the college coaches watching our young team. I am so proud of the girls! Here are our scores-

    Cardinals 5 CV storm 1
    Cardinals 8 Dominators 0
Cardinals 8 VA Lady Eagles 1
Cardinals 2 Coastal Big Stix 0
    Cardinals 4 Richmond Ruckus 1
    Cardinals 6 Carolina Attitude 0
    Cardinals 0 TFS 1

Scored 33 runs and gave up 4.

    Cardinals-McHone Results

Thanks Robert and his Team TFS organization for a great time this past weekend. We had many coaches come by to watch us.
We went 5-1 defeating the TN White Lightning, Sports Plus, Team TFS, Back River Surge, and the VA Lady Eagles.
We lost to a very good Carolina Wildcats team. Lexi pitched a great game.
I'm excited to have Lexi Betancourt, Coach Jeff McPhail and Kensley Loudermelk from the Carolina Cobras going with us to the Ronald McDonald tournament in Houston later this month. These are two very talented young ladies.
With those two and my Hayley Shelton, we ought to have plenty of good pitching available at this high level showcase.
Can't wait to get them all on the field in Texas! It's gonna be a blast.

There is one in Rock Hill this weekend. The 18's & 16's are at Eagle Park. 18's have 14 teams, and the 16's 13 teams.

    Tigerscoach gets the TBR award.....

.....for the best post this month! TB grows on all of us and its nice to see school coaches give up some of their "out of school" time to help them teach their kids at school.

    Props!
