    My DD is also one who will not pick up the ball on the pitchers mound, but depending on the teams line up, it is usually the 3rd baseman or the shorstop who has to hand it to her. She also does not like to leave the dugout before the inning without her catcher being ready for her. Hates to warm up to a coach, someone else. etc.

    I always had a lucky penny and rock in the top of my locker and right before we ran out to our positions, ally and bethaney would spit in my glove.

    I also had an inspirational note, dog tag, and cross in my batbag!!
