    was waiting on others to post Big South picks and finally "one"!

    Excellent choice and any others that come to mind in the 2004 class........most teams appear young, dont you think ddpitch?

    I agree on Emily and Taylor but of course I am a little bias. These two young ladies are two of the best players in NC and maybe the southeast. Emily has been on fire with the bat and has played an error free left field for the Blues and is still a heck of a catcher. Taylor is the best centerfielder in the area and can turn a game around with the bat or on the bases. The best thing is they are both solid citizens and great teammates, U just can not be any better than that. Good luck to St Stephens and the other girls and teams U mentioned. We do have some great player in NC that can compete anywhere.

    CFBall, Along with the 2002 Big South player of the year Nicole Shoemaker , the 2003 Big South player of the year Brea Cheney -Forestveiw, And the best pitcher in the Big South Kayla Short - Ashbrook.
    And yes it looks as most of the teams will be young.;) ;) ;)

    Brittany Cantrell from Mt. Pleasant, Rocky River 2A should have a good year. Some good young players also at Mt Pleasant !
