Some of these HS postponements are crazy

    Somehow my 6U team can manage to have a dry field at the local recreation field, but a high school field is too wet? Makes me think some folks are trying to buy time for pitchers..... Just saying.....

    The entire game is not played between the chalk....some of it is played elsewhere...

    I agree, I would like to see the state adopt stricter guidelines protecting pitchers.

    Not in all cases, but part of it is you don't want a team to travel two-three hours and then have to turn around once the rain starts although if i was the home team i'd wait until the team arrived and then postpone it. this year, especially with all the upsets, you want to make the most of home field advantage.
