The NCAA wants me to take a look at that BCS football situation first. I'm thinking we need a playoff system myself. Maybe 8 teams.

I don't think AP making money. It's the American way. Plus there will be something else come along in a few years. What's to stop someone else from competing with him? There are tons of people that know more about baseball, although that's just part of it. I think you see some jealousy when someone's kid doesn't make it and feels like they should. When I said his passion for the game I am including his passion for kids, and everything around the game.

 

There is no question that Impact has done a good job over the years, and they are continuing to do a good job. People some times forget that The Dirtbags and Impact are two different things. Impact has been a good a good place for kids to get noticed, and there has been good game coverage. In my opnion when Andy was going to games and writing them up he was and is the best guy they have for that. AP does a good job watching games, and writing them up he has an eye for talent. The new impact scout website is another good site for kids getting noticed, but as for other people doing a a better job or as good a job there are people out there now doing as good or better. People in the baseball world know that is going on now, and has been going on. Not taking any thing away from The Dirtbags or Impact but they are not on an island by themselves like some believe!
