Rodney, when I saw the weather report I wasn't sure if you'll would get the games in or not. It looks like you saw an exciting finish to the last game. I thought you would have posted something by now...Sleeping in this morning?

It was cold and quite frankly, we were lucky to win one yesterday. I thought Mars Hill played with a great deal of poise and really made some nice plays, plus #20 can flat hit the ball! Three HRs I believe! We did not hit except one inning in both games, left a ton of runnners on base just as we did all this past weekend. Need some clutch hitting to help us over the hump. I think we will hit well but pitching is going to have to mature quick if we are going to be a major factor. I know the Abbey kids will give it their best and the pitching will come around.
Hats off to Coach Williams, he had his kids ready and they made some adjustments at times that gave them an edge. Missed U, two pretty good games and some excellent hitting at times by both teams. Hope to see U soon.

It Ain't over till it' over

i saw some real good softball yesterday Watched 13 innings was froze to the bone. Left then Abby put more than two hits together. Abby's No. 9 has good swing and No. 21 from MHC is a Hitter She had 8 rbi's with 2HR'S and a double Considering weather both teams played well. Too bad I had to miss the best inning. but I enjoyed watching both teams. Both had excellent catchers!!!
