    Listening to the radio feed, it sounds like its gettin chippy down there. Anybody know what the beef between the two teams is??? These announcers keep reffering to things that happened during the conference tourneys and folks from SC going to the SW4A tourney to scout Butler. They also mentioned some Legion heat between the two teams. Whats the deal???

    I dunno...I don't think the players know each other or have played against each other (at least not very often).

    Brewer comes to bat in the sixth after doubling in the 4th. First pitch is up and in which he did not care for, next pitch is over his head. Umpires warn both benches. Brewer singles to center and turns his ankle rounding first.

    imo there's no place in amatuer baseball for throwing at hitters.

    I know this sounds crazy, but South Caldwell gets this everywhere they go. I have followed the Spartans for years and every team we play comes after our throat. The same with Post 29, we seem to bring the best & worst out of every team we face....way to go Spartans...Carolina Man is proud of you...wish I could have been there

    I have no problem with up and in, at all. But, headhunting (and i'm not implying that happened) is not good.

    Sounds like a Ryne Duren warmup pitch, or maybe a Randy Johnson/John Kruk allstar game zinger. I've seen it before. If he wanted to hit him, he would have.
