South Caldwell Easter Tournament April 18 and 19

    Tournament Schedual:

    Friday-18th
    East Lincoln and South Caldwell 1:00
    RS Central and NW Cabarrus 3:00
    East Lincoln and RS Central 5:00
    South Caldwell and NW Cabarrus 7:00

    Saturday-19th
    East Lincoln and NW Cabarrus 11:00
    South Caldwell and RS Central 1:00

    3rd and 4th place teams 5:00
    Championship Game 7:00

    This should be some exciting games as all four teams are very good. It will also be a chance for fans to see some different teams that they don't regularly get to see.
    There will be plenty of concessions on hand and lots of good places to watch the game if you brgin your own chair. Not a lot of bleachers here yet.
    Come out and support the girls and see some good softball.

    Don't understand the pairing for tournament.
    Eight teams play on Friday and 4 on Saturday.
    How do you know the four winners on Friday?

    This is pool play for the 4 teams with the each team playing the other 1 time. After that the teams with the best records will play for the championship. I don't know what the tie breaker is but at most pool play tournaments it is either most runs scored or least runs allowed. I will try to find that out if not I am sure it will be posted at the beginning of the tournament. hope you can make it up to the games.

    scfan. should be a nice tournament and looking forward to seeing the games.....................wish you would had invited East Rutherford instead of RSCentral!!! Looking forward to watching NWC for the first time this year, but Know they are TUfffffff and will make some noise in this tournament! Happy Easter to all!

    cfball; I too would have liked to see East Rutherford at the tournament along with RS Central as I never get to see these teams play but hear good things about both. If you have a team you would like to see there next year I would mention it to the SC coaches while at the tournament. I think they are the ones who picked the teams and am sure they would like more teams to choose from.

    I would like to see all these games but will have to miss
    friday due to work. Everyone should come out they have a great facility up at South Caldwell and there are good teams in this tournament as I have seen them all. Anyone of the 4 teams there could win it. See you all on Sat.

    I havent heard anything from sc fans but I am heading up to Boone for alittle college ball and hopefully they can get some games today!

    Thanks scfan for posted on the tournament and I hope at least some of the teams will try to reschedule each other in 2003! If so, please post them when they become available!
