    Did I fail to mention that Zupcic is a premiere player, too. The kid is having an outstanding year. He's what I call a glider. He is so smooth that he seems to glide to the ball and on the bases. Rumor has it he watched and copied one of my old tapes of me playing.

    Congratulations to Providence on a fine win.

    South Caldwell, you are a terrific team with an outstanding tradition. It's a shame you aren't in the SW4A. I know you would have done very well in that league just like Providence did......and we would have gotten to see you play more (which would have been great).

    That's why we play the game!

    On paper, not many gave Providence a chance, but anything can happen in a one and done. Congrats to South Caldwell on a fine season. Congrats to Coach Hignight and the Panthers, job well done; way to represent the SW4A. Can't wait to see the AK / ND game, maybe I won't have to drive very far to see the West championship! I guess we'll see tonight.

    Congrats...

    Way to go Providence!! I think we are again seeing what should be the state finals right here in the West. SW4A represents itself well across this state!!!

    And now the big question....How many people were there?
