South Caldwell Scrimmage

    Saturday Feb. 23, South Caldwell will hold a scrimmage, team that are presentlly schedule to attend are as follows.
    South Point JV
    Hibriten JV
    South Caldwell JV
    East Burke
    FT Foard
    Hibriten Varsity
    West Iredell

    Schedule:

    10:00 AM South Point JV VS South Caldwell JV

    11:00 AM Hibriten Varsity VS West Iredell

    12:00 PM South Point JV VS Hibriten JV

    1:00 PM FT Foard Varsity VS East Burke Varsity

    2:00 PM West Iredell Varsity VS South Caldwell Varsity

    3:00 PM East Burke Varsity VS Hibriten Varsity

    4:00 PM FT Foard Varsity VS South Caldwell Varsity

    This scrimmage is keeping a weathered eye on the weather.........

    I want to thank the teams that took part in todays scrimmage at South Caldwell, it was a great day for softball and I certianly hope that all the teams enjoyed the visit as much as we enjoyed having you....

    Maybe next year we can expand a little on the # of teams.......

    Thank you SC had a great time, glad to be back on the field. The food was Great. Good luck on your upcoming season.

    I was out of town today and didn't get to the games. Anyone have a rundown? How did our SC girls look?

    South's team looked pretty good considering that we are still five girls short from the basketball team and there are several of these ladies that will be starters.
    The JV team played South Point to start the morning, and came away with a win. later in the day the varsity played West Irdell with west coming out the winner, and to close out the day the Spartans played Fred T Foard, and we won that game, but however, FTF only pitched Mo. a couple innings, the tale might have been different if Mo. pitched the entire game. but to our credit, our freshman pitcher pretty well shut down the hitting of Foard. Would have been really interesting to see those two matched up for seven innings.
    Overall a good outing for the Spartans.
