Hey jcc...is it true what I said about Shackelford?

 

Braves, you were right on in your comments regarding Shackelford. You had just got the words out of your mouth about him being the 1 guy who is capable of taking Madison deep and on the next pitch I nearly had a heart attack. Joe Stansbury who only starts in LF when Madison is pitching made the play of the game by sprinting backwards for a long run to make a fantastic over the shoulder catch. To tell you the truth I don't know how the ball stayed in the park. I believe had he not made that play SC could have easily lost the game. The entire momentum changed on that play.

 

Hey Braves, it was good to see you and D-backs last night. I was very honored to present you the membership card on behalf of our fat lazy President. Like I said earlier I am the only one of the bums who has the know-how to honor very special people. I was very impressed with the Providence support and crowd. That was the biggest crowd I have ever seen at South. Thanks for all you for baseball in the area.

 

Crest has a high seeding...so what. South Caldwell is way too dominant, in fact, I believe too dominant, in comparison to Crest. We played them on Tuesday and lost on careless, well..mindless errors.

I believe that SC will mercy rule them by the fifth inning...
..plain and simple. Quattlebaum is their only weapon and he didn't really prove that on Tuesday..facin' Messer might make them look ridiculous. Not gonna lie..Good luck to the Spartans.. bring all the fans you want, they have no sitting room available at their field..and if you hit a pop up anywhere within 50-100 feet of the fence it will carry outta there in a hurry.

 

Ball-dee- it was great to see you again. If one couldn't get excited about the game last night....then they just don't like HS baseball. I know there are great fans everywhere, but I can't imagine fans any better than what SC has.

It is truly a community and I am honored that your community has embraced dbacks and myself...well, not so much dbacks. The last two years of HS and legion baseball from Caldwell County has taught me the importance of a town and its people and how they can positively influence the kids for the rest of their lives that play this game.

Also, just keep this in mind. If you guys face the Pineville Legion team this year, take it easy on them. Dbacks is one of their coaches...and he would appreciate the help

 

South Caldwell might hit 10 home runs Friday night. The game will end in 5.

And Alexander with Harrington on the mound might could give the Bulldogs a scare.

 

I think I will miss this game..no seating...no Braves

 

No marquee matchups in the 3rd round, but the South Caldwell Butler game next round will be THE GAME of the 4A playoffs this year.
Might as well call it the championship game, cuz the winner will have a cakewalk the rest of the way.

 

NW Guilford is going to shock someone....and Davie County is not one I want to meet.
